As of October 1, 2026, a new holiday card will be available in the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena: the ActivePass. Guests staying with participating hosts will receive it instead of the traditional guest card – free of charge from the day of arrival.
Everything that the guest card offers is also included in the ActivePass, along with free entry to pools, indoor and outdoor recreational facilities in the region – whether it rains or shines, in summer or winter.

Lermoos Panorama Pool
Heated outdoor pool with a large swimming area, a long water slide, a children's area, and a premium spot overlooking the Zugspitze.
Ehrwald Climbing & Tennis Hall
Bouldering without ropes, top-rope and lead climbing routes that are regularly updated – plus indoor tennis courts.
Bärenarena Berwang
Recreational facility at the edge of the forest with a swimming pool, playground, mini-golf, and sports fields – a destination for the whole family.
3D Archery Course
Bow and arrow instead of hiking poles: The course features up to 28 animal figures as targets – focus is essential.
Ehrwald Ice Rink
Put on your skates and go: Ice skating outdoors with a view of the snow-covered peaks around Ehrwald.

The ActivePass is valid from the day of arrival until the day of departure. You can use it on the same day at multiple facilities – but only once per facility daily.

What does the ActivePass cost?
Nothing. Guests of ActivePass partner establishments receive the pass free of charge during their stay.
Will I receive a guest card as well?
No, that’s not necessary: The ActivePass replaces the guest card at partner establishments and includes all its services.
Is the ActivePass valid on the day of arrival and departure?
Yes, the pass is valid from the day of arrival until the day of departure.
Can I use the ActivePass multiple times a day?
Yes, at different facilities. The same facility can be visited once per day.
Is the ActivePass only available on mobile?
No. In addition to the digital card with QR code, the ActivePass is also available as a printed card from your host.
How can I find out if my accommodation is an ActivePass partner?
The participating establishments are listed by the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena Tourism Association. The easiest way is to ask your host directly when making your inquiry.
