For summer guests, Bichlbach offers a sports and leisure park featuring a large swimming lake with a sunbathing area, a children's pond, diving tower, and slide, as well as a miniature golf course, three tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, a small sports field, a playground, and a rafting facility. Animal lovers are encouraged to visit the fairy tale park and petting zoo in Bichlbach.
There are also plenty of opportunities for hikers and mountain bikers in Bichlbach and Lähn-Wengle.
In winter, you can access the Almkopfbahn and the Bichlbach-Berwang ski swing directly from the town center. You'll find ski rentals, ski schools, and ski services right in the village center. For cross-country skiers, the Zugspitzarena offers the most snow-sure trails with countless kilometers of tracks. Sledding, ice skating, curling, and winter hiking complement the winter sports and leisure activities.
Heiterwang-Bichlbach Summer
In summer, Heiterwang revolves around the two stunning mountain lakes, which together stretch for 8 km. The Heiterwanger See reaches a depth of about 75 m at its deepest point. Activities such as fishing, diving, surfing, swimming, or rowing on the Heiterwanger See and Plansee are highly recommended.
Horse enthusiasts will find numerous riding stables and a carriage express available.
Heiterwang is particularly favored by hikers who cherish unspoiled nature. The Heiterwanger Hausberg Thaneller (2341 m) is especially suited for experienced hikers and climbers. Treks through the wildly romantic Pitzenbachtal, the Rauchalm, or to the managed Hochalm will make any hiker's heart race.
In summer, the lakes offer opportunities for fishing, diving, surfing, swimming, and rowing, with small passenger ships providing various routes on the lakes. A cozy walking path encircles the lake, suitable for Nordic walking and jogging. The surrounding mountains present possibilities for hiking and biking tours, or for the more experienced, challenging mountain climbs.
In Bichlbach, the animal and play park is a rewarding destination, not just for children. The sports and leisure park featuring a swimming lake, miniature golf, tennis, a children's playground, a beach volleyball court, and a small sports field offers fun for all ages.
