Quiet, sunny and yet central: Haus am Römerweg is located in Lermoos, only about 100 m from the Grubigstein gondola and the local bus stop.
Your host Ruth Richter rents out four holiday apartments for 2 to 6 people – from a cosy apartment for couples to the new family suite spread over two floors. Every apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with dining area and its own balcony overlooking the mountains of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, some with a view of the Zugspitze.
After a day of skiing or hiking, relax in the in-house wellness area with sauna and soft steam bath, free of charge for all guests. Families appreciate the children's playroom, cot and high chair, and dogs are very welcome too.

Family Suite Alisa (approx. 100 m², 2–6 people): two floors, children's room with bunk bed, 2 bathrooms, east-facing balcony with panoramic view
Apartment Zugspitze (approx. 50 m², 2–5 people): double and single bed, shower/WC, east-facing balcony with Zugspitze view
Apartment Grubigstein (approx. 55 m², 2–4 people): 2 bedrooms each with private bathroom, east and south balconies with views of the Zugspitze and the ski area

Lermoos is a true holiday paradise for active travelers and families alike. Nestled in the west of the Zugspitz valley, it offers a stunning view over the vast valley, showcasing Zugspitze, Sonnenspitze, Grubigstein, and the majestic Daniel.
Once, the famous Via Claudia, an ancient Roman road, ran through Lermoos, with remnants still visible today. Now, Lermoos has become a significant tourist destination, boasting around 3,500 guest beds across all categories – après-ski venues, bars, pubs, cafes, and restaurants create a lively atmosphere.

The Romans established their Via Claudia Augusta through the valley basin, where a wooden path made of tree trunks traversed the marshy terrain. Lermoos appears in documents as "Larinmos" between 1073 and 1078. In the Middle Ages, trade between Italy and Bavaria brought prosperity: there was a salt depot, and from the 16th century, a postal station and an inn for travelers. After traffic took different routes, tourism revitalized the area after 1945.
The origin of the name: The old form "Larinmos" may stem from "Larch Marsh."
